Our Security Measures We became a paperless business in 2008. I wanted to be sure we provided the highest form of security measures for loan document handling. I found that with Ellie Mae®, also in 2008. My contract with them provides upgrades as soon as they become available. If you select to use our security measures, your documents will never be found in open files, on a loan originator's desk, or among loan processing files, in unsecured office areas. Nor, will your files be found on computers that are not totally secure. Your files will be stored and processed on Ellie Mae® Web Center Encompass 360® Loan Operating System. Utilizing password protected SSL encrypted high-security servers, where your documents are protected 24/7. No one has unauthorized access to your information. Your personal information is protected in the most secure environment for electronic document handling within the financial business sector. In today's electronic age, security is paramount. Take full advantage of our secure document handling. You'll receive and deliver your loan documents directly through our loan origination document handling system. You'll receive an Ellie Mae® 800 Fax Number and Bar Coded Fax Cover Sheets. Faxed documents are instantly converted into secure electronic documents. These documents are delivered into your loan file. You'll have 24/7 access. After your loan has funded, your file is archived for three years, as required by law. After three years has elapsed, your loan file is "wiped" from Ellie Mae's® Server. An extremely secure environment, from start to finish. Some folks do not own a fax machine. If you don't own a fax, there is usually a FedEx (Kinkos), The UPS Store or an Independent mail / copy business nearby. Not all charge the same fee. Check around. We do not insist on being paperless. Or, require secure document handling. If you prefer not to send your documents via fax, you may send your documents by regular email, post or FedEx. We'll process your loan file on our Calyx Point® Loan Operating System, which is most commonly used in our industry.
